(UK, 1172167) Browse eventsThank you for visiting UKIST on MyDonate. Our aim as a charity is to raise awareness of Infantile Spasms (West Syndrome) and to help and support affected families. Please make a donation to support our cause. Infantile Spasms is a rare form of epilepsy that can have devastating effects on brain development. It is often referred to as 'little seizures, big consequences'. Unless it is recognised and treated early the prognosis for affected children is very poor, but because it is rare it is often misdiagnosed as reflux or startle reflex. The charity was set up by a group of UK parents who found each other through one of the international IS support groups. Prior to 2016 there was no Infantile Spasms support network in the UK. We started as a Facebook group, and found like-minded parents who were passionate about raising awareness of IS and supporting other families. UKIST became a registered charity in March 2017. (UK, 1152466) Browse eventsAt Sikh 2 Inspire we want to share the greatness of Gurbani and the glorious history of the great Gurus who blessed us both with their teachings and their presence. We also have a rich tapestry filled with the lives of Sikhs who have walked the path of love set out by the Gurus that illuminates the Guru’s message. Our goal is simple, we want to inspire people with this treasure and encourage them to build their relationship with Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never heard of Sikhi before, or whether you’ve been travelling Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s path of love for decades, there is so much inspiration we can take, so much to learn and experience. This path can take us to a place beyond our understanding, but it has to walked, it has to be experienced. We want to help you take that first step, or that hundredth step, and at the same time we pray that Guru Sahib keeps us walking right alongside you

Our vision is a society in which women’s human rights are respected and in which they are safe from persecution. Our mission is to ensure that women seeking asylum in the UK are treated with justice and dignity. We work in three main ways: we empower women asylum seekers to speak out publicly about their own experiences of persecution and of seeking asylum; we raise awareness of the experiences of women seeking asylum by working with the media and through engaging with the public, and we lobby politicians and policy makers to try to create a fairer asylum process.
