The church building is the historic West Ham Central Mission building - the name "Memorial" referencing our unique bells which are the Plaistow area's war memorial. We have a call to serve the local area of much disadvantage; to which end we host a homeless night shelter, provide a homeless breakfast, offer free computer and internet access etc. Our motivation and message is the love of God.
We are The Ark Child Okeford. We are a childcare setting providing care and education for children aged from 0 - 11 years. Located in the heart of North Dorset, between Blandford Forum and Sturminster Newton, on the premises of St. Nicholas Primary School, in the village of Child Okeford. We open from 8.00am until 6.00pm for 50 weeks per year, closing for one week at the end of August and one week at Christmas. We are a community group, a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. Our aims are: • To enhance the development and education of children in a parent-involving, community-based group. • To offer good quality, affordable childcare • To provide a caring, safe, secure and stimulating environment for children from 0-11 years • To work within a framework that ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.
The aim of the PFA is to provide equipment and facilities for Sarisbury Junior School. In addition to this we organise events and social activities for children and families that support and benefit the whole school community.
Bemerton Community Ltd is the charity set up to undertake the conversion of the redundant church of St John's in Lower Bemerton, Salisbury, UK for shared community use. It is now fundraising to help cover running costs, to maintain and improve the building, and to expand supported activities.

Families need support for many different reasons, family breakdown, postnatal illness, isolation, a child’s disability, bereavement, or any other reason causing stress or crisis. With a flexible approach, meeting the individual needs of each family, volunteers help build the family’s confidence and ability to cope. Our volunteers are parents themselves, trained and supported by our co-ordinators and are carefully matched to a family. Our volunteers provide weekly support within the family’s own home by listening, companionship, and practical help. There is no time limit to our support and staff will also visit families regularly to review the service and support provided until everybody agrees that the family is able to cope on their own. To Home-Start Stirling, every family is special and we respond to each family’s individual needs through our services of home-visiting support, family group work and social events. Home-Start Stirling has a proven, lasting, positive impact on the development of children and on the health and welfare of the family.
