We are always looking for ways to further enrich our school, involve families and keep our minds and bodies healthy. That's where YOU come in! Help us raise enough money to plant a new vegetable garden laden with fresh organic vegetables and herbs. This will help us to learn about healthy eating and cooking. Our cultural and social diversity greatly enriches our school and this diversity is highly valued by our whole school community. We plan to use our vegetable garden to invite families in to cook with us! We can't wait to share a meal together.

Park Ridge Primary School is located in Rowville, in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs. It presently has an enrolment of 585 students. The school is situated on a very large site with a large oval and two adventure playgrounds, a sealed fitness track, a large synthetic double basketball area and numerous quiet retreats. All classrooms are well maintained, with heating and air-conditioning and access to 120 Netbook Computers. In 2013 an Ipad program (no extra cost to parents) was introduced at Prep Level. The school has an eLearning centre, an indoor gymnasium, Performing Arts Centre, Library and Visual Arts building. The teachers provide a dynamic learning environment that enables children to become lifelong learners who reach their full potential and become socially well-adjusted and responsible citizens. There is a strong emphasis on the teaching of ‘Thinking Skills’ across the school.

Narbethong State Special School provides educational programs to students who are vision impaired, vision impaired with additional disabilities and for those students who are deaf blind. The school program has a commitment to the methodology of Active Learning which offers self paced developmental learning to all our students. Students have the opportunity to initiate, repeat and learn from their own play. Environments are developed for each student to provide opportunities to utilize already achieved motor, cognitive and emotional abilities. Additionally, such environments must arouse the students’ interest and curiosity to encourage further development through the activities.
