St Wilfrid's Hospice, Chichester, provides Specialist Palliative Care to people with cancer, Motor Neurone Disease and other life limiting illnesses. Each year we are able to support about 500 patients and their families with day to day difficulties as well as more complex problems that result form their illness. Hospice in the Weald provides compassionate, individualised, holistic and supportive care for all patients with life-limiting illnesses, their carers and families in West Kent and East Sussex. As a local charity not part of the NHS we need to raise £5m each year to ensure our services can continue.
The YAA relies solely on the generosity of the public to help save lives across the region. We need to raise £9990 per day to keep our helicopters in the air. Since we launched in October 2000 we have flown over 5,200 patients directly to hospitals across the region; www.yaa.org.uk

Queenscourt is an independent hospice which provides, free of charge, a comprehensive range of specialist palliative care and support services for those living with terminal illness, their carers and families. Queenscourt relies heavily on donations and fundraising to provide the income needed to meet running costs.
Cancer Fund for Children provides practical and emotional support to local children and their families impacted by cancer. Our Specialist Team provides support at home, in the community and on the hospital ward. We also offer free therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle.
The hospice’s services are free but we receive less than 20% of our annual costs from government and so have to fundraise over £6,000 every single day of the year to make ends meet. Our friends in the community are a central part of the team which together provides a crucial local service.
