EFOD is a U.K.-based charity that develops and trains young industry professionals, including architects, engineers, project managers and apprentice craftsmen by linking design and construction teams to projects in areas of extreme poverty in Sub Saharan Africa. Project teams are responsible for commissioning, designing and project delivery, as well as sourcing and training local labour to assist with construction. EFOD is also responsible for fundraising to ensure its projects get built.

OneSight is dedicated to improve vision for the hundreds of million adults and children in need who can not afford basic eye care. Volunteers travel to developing countries around the world to hand-deliver free eye care and recycled eyewear through organized optical clinics. Since 1988, OneSight has provided free vision care and eyewear to more than 6 million people around the world.
Established in 1929, Lancaster Boys and Girls Club works with young people throughout the Lancaster district who come from a diverse range of backgrounds both culturally and socially which includes the Asian community, traveller community, children’s homes and those with behavioural issues. With over 5,000 contacts last year, the club has proven there is a need for good quality youth work provision in this area, supported by engaging youth workers and challenging activities and trips. By providing a safe and positive place for young people, we help them aspire to be become better members of the community both individually and collectively. Youth provision is provided by Lancaster Boys and Girls Club in various ways namely: Open youth provision where young people are able to choose from the variety of activities which the versatile Club has to offer; and Specially designed, focused sessions in music, dance, arts and sports. By providing a varied programme of positive activities from Monday to Saturday in a safe and welcoming environment, young people can enjoy their social and development time in a relaxed environment, away from the formal structure of the school setting.
