Our mission is to collect unwanted tools, refurbish them, sort them into trade kits and send them across the world. We want to support local people and their own communities through livelihood creating projects. There is dignity through work and the ability to provide for yourself and your family.

Home-Start Ealing is a registered charity that has been supporting families for over 20 years. All of the families are experiencing some type of stress or difficulty that could include disability, bereavement, poverty, isolation and domestic violence. We recruit and train volunteers who will visit a family at home offering practical and emotional support with the aim of preventing family crisis and breakdown. We also arrange trips and parties giving families opportunities to experience new things and socialise with others.
From the first day of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, LUCA has been helping victims of the war. The LUCA is working in two main areas: supporting those, who fled the war, here, in the UK; and sending medical and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. We have delivered ambulance vehicles, power generators and satellite phones to the hottest points in Ukraine, including Kherson, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya; in March, we were one of the first, to open a hub filled with the free essentials for the Ukrainians, who fled the war; and are providing a day-to-day support for the refugees to help them to integrate into the Leeds community. LUCA is also promoting Ukrainian culture via a series of history lectures, master classes based on Ukrainian traditions and Ukrainian Saturday School.
