Our objective is to get younger people impassioned about our sport and to harness the enthusiasm, knowledge, and skills of the games’ Professionals and its Clubs. Through our programme of grants, we support Real Tennis clubs to reach out to all young people in their local communities. Teaching young people to play Real Tennis, inspiring a love of the game and its tradition of good sportsmanship. We also help to create sustainable junior membership sections within clubs and significantly increase the number of under-24s involved in the game and keep them engaged.

Set up in memory of our brave Amelia, that lost her battle with Neuroblastoma at 8 years old. We saw how an activity or gift improved her mood whilst in hospital and wanted to share that with other children hospitalised with long term illness. We will also be funding research into Neuroblastoma.
TCT Guernsey Appeal is the local branch of the UK charity, so we can help local patients directly here from Guernsey, whether this is for travel to and from the UK for treatment or just general care and wellbeing projects locally.
We run concerts festivals, club nights and events across the UK in aid of raising funds to then provide grants to cancer research, treatment and care facilities across the UK. We target our grants toward non-profit organisations and non animal testing research.

We improve the life chances and raise levels of aspiration among young carers who provide a significant level of care for a disabled or seriously ill family member. Our young carers have mentioned the difficulty in balancing school, especially school work, and the demands of their home life. 48 school days (10 weeks) are missed or cut significantly short because of their caring role. Young adult carers aged between 16 and 18 years are twice as likely not to be in education, employment, or training. The Young Carers Development Trust enables young carers to fulfil their potential. Many young carers have developed resilience and transferable skills and we support them to achieve success. Our young carers are from families who are financially constrained and many of them have never had a relative attend further education. In addition, through highlighting the success of individuals we challenge systems and provide a route map for success for countless others. Our unique approach is to work with local young carers services to identify young carers with real potential who are unlikely to succeed without targeted support. We provide long term mentoring, practical and financial support for up to four years to each young carer.
