JustHelping is a registered charity, established in 2012 which aims to bring individuals together to contribute and support their local community through participation in community events. Our main fundraising event is the Christmas tree collection which raises money for hospices and local charities through voluntary donations received when someone registers their real Christmas tree online for collection. The Christmas tree collection has a positive social impact on local communities because it brings together individuals, community groups and businesses to work together with their local hospice to raise money for the hospice as well as other local charities.

Cambridge Cancer Research Fund or CCRF, is based near Cambridge and over the last 22 years has funded vital cancer research at the University of Cambridge and at Addenbrooke's Hospital. At present CCRF is working to develop new tests to improve the detection of early cancer growths so that they can be successfully removed before they spread. We fund important work at Addenbrookes Hospital to find new biomarkers that can detect aggressive cancers at an early stage. In order to carry on this work we desperately need funds to allow us to continue this work and also to enable us to set up a new research group to evaluate and validate new sensitive diagnostic technologies to detect these aggressive cancers. Your donation, be it large or small, can help us carry on this vital research and help save more lives. MOLA's dynamic public engagement initiatives, research projects and educational programmes unlock new knowledge and strengthen communities through fostering a sense of place and identity. Our aim is to stimulate enquiry and promote active discovery through participation and partnership, widening access to and appreciation of the value of heritage. We work with researchers, experts and a dedicated volunteer team to help local people to explore and understand their own heritage, working on archaeological projects and investigating the thousands of artefacts and data that we have in our care at any one time. The flagship foreshore, coastal and intertidal archaeology projects, the Thames Discovery Programme and CITiZAN (Coastal and Inter-Tidal Zone Archaeology Network), coordinate the invaluable efforts of over 500 volunteers. Our volunteers capture unique records of the archaeological structures and finds along these fragile areas that are under threat of active erosion and loss. None of this work would be possible without the help of our supporters, and we are very grateful for your donations.
