Primrose Hill Community Woodland Trust planted 20,000, mostly British native, trees on a 24 acre site within the city boundaries of Bath. This woodland is open to the community 24/7 every day and access is free. it is designed to provide not only an asset for the community where visitors can commune with nature but also a haven for wildlife, flora and fauna. It is managed and run by community volunteers and having purchased the land, the trust desperately needs funds to pay off the resultant debt and to fund maintenance of the wood for the future. This includes providing drainage to make the wood less dangerous underfoot. There is also a need to make at least the initial access of the wood disabled friendly.
