(UK, 1124629) Browse eventsSouth London Special League provides regular competitive sport for people with a disability at whatever level they are able to access the game. This depends on their ability, not disability. Currently South London Special League offers training and competition in the following: Table Cricket Small sided football Small sided cricket Goalball (1st Paralympic Sport) Boccia Tennis Powerchair Football with many more exciting projects to come in the future... South London Special League is funded entirely through grants, donations and fundraising events. It organises some 50 football tounrmanets each year involving over 3000 players, competing at each age, gender and ability level for an annual cup. The League also provides opportunities to train for qualifications as a coach or assisstnat coach and work experience placements. In return, we offer fully trained and qualified coaches to special needs schools in the local community. The success of the Special League is reflected by the number and high standard of awards for excellence that have been achieved in the last decade. Any donation is welcome, however big or small, and we welcome anyone who would like to see the project in action at one of our events. Seeing the project really gives an insight into the needs of these disabled adults and youngsters who just want the opportunity to play sport at a level they can compete and not be discriminated against because of their ability as sportspeople.

As an established group, Alternative Angels offers hot meals, soups, and snacks to the most vulnerable around the Swindon area.
We are Nazeing PTFA and we are raising funds to support the children in our school, to enrich their lives and give them extra opportunities and experiences. We are currently raising funds for a new canopy to make our outdoor area accessible all year round, helping them benefit from the outdoor space
