(UK, 1126516A) Bradford Central Foodbank provides emergency food for people in crisis in Bradford. We meet the short term need by providing a food parcel that will provide meals for three days and try to address the long term need by signposting people to other help around the city. In the last 12 months we have fed over 5000 people in crisis in our city! People come to us in all sorts of situations; some who find themselves in unexpected crises, perhaps due to redundancy or debt, while others we help to move on to a new life away from circumstances like homelessness, abuse and human trafficking. We are so grateful to all those who support us by giving food, time and finances. With your help we can continue to feed the hungry and help people turn their situations around.

The work of the Medaille Trust is to empower those who have been freed from the Human Trafficking industry here in the UK. Enabling them to regain their dignity and self-worth. We do this by providing safe housing and offering opportunities for physical and psychological healing and rehabilitation. We raise awareness of the plight of those who are enslaved and exploited in Sex Trafficking, Labour Exploitation, Domestic Servitude and other slave like industries in the UK.

YTD Raised: £0.00Cambrian Wildwood, Welsh name Coetir Anian, is an inspiring project to restore wild nature to a large area of the Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales.The project is run by the charity Sefydliad Tir Gwyllt Cymru / Wales Wild Land Foundation. Restoring 7000 acres of barren uplands to a wild, natural landscape of native forest and heathland. Returning missing native animals – water vole, red squirrel and beaver – to complement the recently introduced pine marten. Wild horses introduced at early stage, and in the longer term roe and red deer. The Wildwood area has open public access for people to enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife. We acquired 350 acres in the heart of the proposed Wildwood in May 2017, enabling the project to start on the ground. Target is to own 3500 acres and work in partnership with neighbouring landowners including Welsh Government to bring a total of 7000 acres into the project area. The charity needs to raise around £1 million for the next land purchase. You can become a Wildwood Founder by donating £300. Every penny donated via this site goes towards land purchase. You can pay one-off or recurring donations. Please contact us if you choose to become a Founder by instalments.
