Youth Cymru is a national youth work charity with an 81 year history. Our mission is to support young people (aged 11-25) to reach their full potential and have a voice in all decisions affecting them. There are 197 Youth Cymru member organisations working across Wales, with many located in the most deprived communities. In 2014/15, we engaged with 218,418 young people. We coordinate projects working with young people experiencing social isolation, discrimination and fewer opportunities. The Big Music Project enables young people to develop skills in the creative industries and Trans*Form Cymru supports transgender young people to develop confidence and positive support networks . We offer funding for young people to run their own social action projects, organise events which bring together young people from across Wales and provide opportunities to recognise and celebrate the achievements of young people. Youth Cymru’s work is supported and informed by Llais Ifanc, our Young Leadership panel.

The Milford and Villages Day Centre, known as the Clockhouse, is an integral part of its community. 250 older men and women, ranging in age up to 100, regularly spend their days at the Clockhouse as members of the centre. In a safe, pleasant environment, they eat meals, enjoy entertainment and benefit from social interaction, all crucial factors in preventing isolation and keeping older peoples minds stimulated. The Clockhouse and its dedicated staff, assisted by over 80 volunteers, has been serving its members for over ten years.

St Judes is the parish church of Hampstead Garden Suburb, a world famous model community in north west London.  The church is the work of Englands leading 20th century architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens, and is a Grade 1 listed building.  As well as serving the worshipping Anglican congregation it is a social and cultural centre for the area, and the venue for the annual Proms at St Judes music festival.
