Also the promotion of Interfaith/ Interspiritual organisations that, recognise and embody the Unity of All; regardless of race, religion or gender. "When indeed shall we learn that we are all related one to the other, that we are members of one body? Until the Spirit of love for our fellow men, regardless of race, colour or creed, shall fill the world, making real in our lives and our deeds the actuality of human brotherhood - until the great mass of the people shall be filled with the sense of responsibility for each other's welfare, social justice can never be attained" (Helen Keller) See our ancillary website www.cbdifm.org for some of the projects supported whilst our charity website is being developed.

On December 1st 2012 we became one of the libraries within Buckinghamshire to move to community library status, where we have professional library staff assisted by trained local volunteers. The Wendover Community Library Trust is a Registered Charity, No. 1157773. This means that the committee members are legally obliged as Trustees to run the organisation in accordance with our charitable objects, which gives reassurance to donors and those dealing with us. It has financial benefits in that annual membership subscriptions and donations by you as a Friend of Wendover Community Library may now be treated as Gift Aid donations, so the taxman gives us another quarter as a tax rebate. It is a waste not to give him the opportunity to contribute in this way to help us enhance our library facilities! Our library is in the heart of the town. The library car park is pay and display (free for the first hour) and is accessed off the High Street. Thank you for supporting us in continuing our aim to place your library in the heart of our community.
