VESL is a small charity run by a dedicated team of past volunteers. We run worthwhile well-supported educational projects in the neediest communities in Thailand, Sri Lanka & India. Our volunteers help rural schools teach English, support orphanages, hospices & community development projects.

The Bala Children’s Centre exists to love and care for children who have no-one else to look after them providing food, clothing, an education and medical care. Located in South-Western Kenya, the Centre currently looks after around 430 children. There are now over 2,500,000 orphans in Kenya.
Wantage Counselling and Training Centre is the working name of Wantage Counselling Service which was founded in 1984, in 2015 it became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). WCTC provides affordable counselling for individuals, couples and young people in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and beyond. WCS is particularly valuable as a voluntary addition for patients in need of long-term care beyond whatever the NHS can provide. We can see up to 50 people a week for short- or long-term counselling. As a BACP-accredited service we follow the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy's (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice. WCS is a registered charity and aims to provide counselling irrespective of clients’ ability to pay the full fee. We rely on fundraising events to help raise awareness of our service and to fund it.
