YTD Raised: £0.00Wantage Counselling and Training Centre is the working name of Wantage Counselling Service which was founded in 1984, in 2015 it became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). WCTC provides affordable counselling for individuals, couples and young people in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and beyond. WCS is particularly valuable as a voluntary addition for patients in need of long-term care beyond whatever the NHS can provide. We can see up to 50 people a week for short- or long-term counselling. As a BACP-accredited service we follow the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy's (BACP) Ethical Framework for Good Practice. WCS is a registered charity and aims to provide counselling irrespective of clients’ ability to pay the full fee. We rely on fundraising events to help raise awareness of our service and to fund it.
