We are a community bus service operating in Burtonwood & Winwick. We have 2 buses, Bertie and Winston. We take people to work, medical appts, shopping and to day centres. During COVID-19, we have been delivering shopping and medication to residents who can't leave home.

The Mintridge Foundation provide a support network for young people by harnessing the power of positive sporting role models - our programmes are based on the different stories, journeys and messages of our passionate professional athlete Ambassadors. We assist young people of all ages, abilities and physical capabilities to develop confidence and resilience, and create awareness of the importance of mental and physical wellbeing through sport.Since our conception in 2015, we have delivered over 160 programmes and impacted the lives of 40,000 children and young people across the UK. Our Ambassadors - Olympians, Paralympians and other professional sports stars from over 20 sports, work with young people in schools, clubs and academies across the UK. Visits include assemblies, coaching clinics and classroom sessions, inspiring inclusive sports participation for all, disability awareness, female empowerment and recognition of mental health and wellbeing issues.Additionally, Ambassadors provide one-on-one remote mentoring in a safeguarded environment, much of the mentoring focuses on the psychological demands of life, dealing with pressures and coping with setbacks, some of our mentees are gifted and talented athletes who benefit from the technical coaching expertise.All our Ambassadors receive professional training in conjunction with Switch the Play and the Child Protection in Sport Unit, so they can confidently deliver the highest quality of coaching and mentoring in a safe environment to meet our objectives. Your donation will help to provide more Mintridge Foundation programmes to disadvantaged and socially isolated children and young people across the UK, and support training for the Ambassadors who deliver our objectives. The Lochalsh Leisure Centre serves the communities of Lochalsh, South Skye and Wester Ross. Located in Kyle of Lochalsh, we have provided swimming, gym and fitness facilities to our local community since 1992; proudly teaching local children to swim and offering leisure services to residents.
