First Steps raises money to help local charities and organisations that support mothers, mothers-to-be, babies and toddlers in the West Midlands. Since its launch in 1995, it has raised well over £1 million, and has been able to provide many vitally-needed items ranging from playthings for local pre-school groups to foetal monitoring equipment for hospitals in its area.
Will’s Africa Trust is a memorial to Will Andrew who died following an accident with an Elephant. It works in Kenya and has two thematic areas; disadvantaged children, and wildlife conservation. Currently it is a major donor to the Nest, an orphanage just outside Nairobi and to Save the Elephants.

PAW is an organisation formed to protect & restore Mwabvi Wildlife Reserve in Malawi. We promote environmental conservation & development by working with local people to protect the biodiversity, bring back wildlife, and provide clean safe water, training and a range of employment opportunities.
We support projects & organisations working with disadvantaged children, sharing the love of Jesus Christ in a practical way. Funding is available to organisations providing shelter, food, safety, education for vulnerable children in Kenya.
In some parts of the world children grow up never knowing what it is like to be at school and remain trapped in poverty their whole life. Things are infinitely worse for those with disabilities. Governments can only do so much. This is a chance for us individuals to make a difference even if it feels like just a single insignificant raindrop in a desert. Together we can turn these little raindrops into an oasis and change a few lives for the better.
Our hall is a vital resource for our local community, used by Scouting and Guiding groups, and various other activity groups. It is badly in need of replacing and we would like to invite you to help us raise funds for this worthwhile project.
