They make money from their skills, while the rest is revisited back into the charity, funding our workshops, trips and exhibitions. 1.5 million people in the Uk have learning disabilities. They face many challenges and obstacles to full inclusion and integration within society. Only 7% are in paid employment and it can be difficult for them to make friends and have contact with non-disable peers. We want to change this by offering meaningful opportunities for people with learning disabilities to grow as artists, while developing valuable life skills that improve their wellbeing, independence and self-esteem in a social and inclusive envonment.
