We also support their affected families, children and friends. Addiction is an illness damaging not just to individuals, but harms families and children too. Addiction can lead to communities bearing the cost of antisocial or criminal behaviour and increased health and social welfare costs. At The Living Room St Albans we work through structured group therapy, lead by two qualified counsellors, themselves in long-term recovery. Each year we see many lives transformed and clients leaving our service abstinent from their addiction.

YTD Raised: £0.00Formally called Aid International, we have changed our name to Bourne Relief to reflect our desire to increase our fundraising to also support work in the UK. Bourne Relief helps a number of projects in the UK and abroad that are in need. In Guatemala, we help abused and orphaned children through Gifts of Love International. They currently house 35 children to offer them a better hope for the future. In Lusaka, we help educate school children in the newly built Kingswood Christian Academy through Fountain of Life Church. And at home we support the Bourne Family Project offering adult counselling, play therapy and parenting courses.
