(UK, 1078693) Bradford and Airedale Mental Health Advocacy Group (BAMHAG) are a user led mental health charity who aim to ensure peoples voices are heard within the health and social care system. BAMHAG was set up in 1989 by mental health services users who had nobody independent from services to help speak up for/with them. Since 1989 the services BAMHAG provide have grown, offering specialist mental health advocacy in a variety of settings, both community and hospital, as well as statutory advocacy services aiming to provide a voice for those detained under the Mental Health Act, and those who lack capacity. BAMHAG also provide a collective voice within strategic settings providing a link between service providers and service users and carers. BAMHAG also provide user led Befriending, as well as training volunteers to undertake advocacy and befriending.

YTD Raised: £0.00The Pembroke Dock Sunderland Trusts main aim is the recovery a Short Sunderland Flying Boat, Serial No T9044, which sank at its moorings in a gale in 1940. The Flying Boat Interpretation Centre and Workshop in Pembroke Dock, which is unique to the UK, opened its doors on 27th June 2009 and has been visited by many thousands of visitors since. Pembroke Dock had a thirty year link with the glorious era of flying boat operations and our centre tells some of the stories from this very important period of the 20th century. The Flying Boat Centre displays a Pegasus engine and many other items already recovered from the site of T9044, which is close to the Pembroke Dock waterfront. These parts are being conserved by many members of our volunteer team. Over fifty volunteers are now involved in this project. They run the centre on behalf of the Sunderland Trust and are also enthusiastically involved in all the other areas of the project. These include Education, Archiving/Conservation, Outreach and organising special events which promote the project and reflect the remarkable military history of the Pembroke Dock community and local area. Visit us to see the many displays, photos, uniforms and medals, models, artefacts, memorabilia and interactive items for small (and big!) children. YTD Raised: £0.00Fifehead Neville PCC is responsible for All Saints church which has, for the past 700 years, been the centre of the Fifehead community of Fifehead Neville and Fifehead St Quintin. It remains the only focal point for our villages, around which many congregate for regular monthly services, as well as services on Easter Day, Harvest thanksgiving, a Carol Service and Christmas Day. It also prompts other events including lunches, teas, musical evenings and the fete, and it is there for christenings, weddings, funerals and any other time we may wish to use it. CLASSICS AT THE EXCHANGE We are organising a Concert on 10.11.12 in the Exchange at Surminster Newton and hosted by Valerie Singleton.
