The Hall was entrusted in 1925 to Beadnell WI and provides indoor/outdoor space for Members and local residents, to meet for educational, social and community support. It has been awarded Hallmark 1 accreditation (ACRE) and is in daily use by local groups. The adjacent well kept garden and large floodlit patio with seating and tables, makes the facility ideal for weddings, parties etc. but there is a need to upgrade this outside space for year round use. The professional grade kitchen has cooker, fridges, dishwasher and good work surfaces complying with all legal requirements but, of course, these will need to be maintained and replaced when needed. There are toilets and ramp access for the disabled but our users tell us that both these services need to be improved for future use.
