Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. Hope for Southall Street Homeless is a community initiative born out of a desire to see real change for the better in the lives of people who are sleeping rough in Southall. We provide a place of sanctuary every night of the year for those who would otherwise be sleeping rough on our streets. We offer a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere in a place of safety, with an evening meal, a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning. In addition we work to support our guests to move on in their lives by tackling the obstacles they need to deal with, such as drug or alcohol misuse and mental and physical health issues.Much of our work is done by unpaid volunteers. Nonetheless we could not deliver our service without our full-time manager and key people in some other paid roles running the shelter night by night. We run with very low admin costs and 80% of our expenditure is on staff. Charity No: 1164674 Find out more Website Please click here to visit our website
