The HSA is Clapham Terrace’s name for the Parent Teacher Association or PTA. We hold events for children and parents each year to raise money and to have fun. Who are the HSA? All parents, carers of children and members of staff are automatically members of the HSA. We hold meetings every half-term to help decide what we fund and how to raise money, or to help organise, set up or clear up at events. We are always looking for extra pairs of hands! We have a chair, secretary and treasurer , communication and design director as well as class reps – all of whom are volunteer parents. What’s the HSA all about? We have 2 purposes of equal importance. Firstly, we raise money to help fund activities and equipment that the school isn’t able to fund from its normal budget. We also provide social opportunities and fun activities for us all to enjoy together, helping to promote the family and community atmosphere that is so important to our childrens’ experience of school. We aim to fund a mix of projects each year that support a range of school and extra-curricular activities

Supporting Individuals We are dedicated to supporting individuals with mental ill health, learning disabilities, autism and dementia. We support over 1,500 adults and children in over 80 different locations and have a particular expertise in working with the most complex needs, where individuals face unique challenges to community living. We are growing in response to the high demand for our services and aim to expand to support 3000 individuals by 2025. Praxis Care provides services across a broad spectrum of service user needs. We provide support and accommodation approaches, which are shaped around the needs and preferences of the individual and reflects how they want to live their lives. We are acutely aware that getting the support and accommodation mix right for the individual is not an option but an essential foundation for sustained success. At all levels of need we seek to identify the best solution available, with the service user and others who are important to them. This includes type and location of accommodation, who they live with and the support they need from our staff. We believe that complex needs should not prevent someone from having the opportunity of community living.
