YTD Raised: n/aSignposts is based in Burgess Hill and provides information advice and support to people with learning disabilities living in Mid Sussex. As well as Burgess Hill, we cover Haywards Heath, where we have a satellite service, Hassocks, and surrounding villages in Mid Sussex. We encourage our clients to become as independent as possible and help them to feel included and valued in the community where they live. During the Lockdown, we have been providing support to our clients by doing shopping, delivering medication, and phoning clients to make sure that they are keeping safe and well, and that they are not becoming too anxious or depressed during this coronavirus crisis. It might be Lockdown but you can still make an enormous difference to our clients by donating - it will enable us to continue our especially important and essential work in supporting all our Signposters. Maybe you could donate what you would have spent on having tea/cake with your friends every week, or perhaps what you would have spent on lunch or both. We would be incredibly grateful so a big thank you in advance.

(UK, 1103868) Kenya Children Centres rescues destitute orphan girls and cares for them in a safe and loving environment. The children live in small family units, each with a house mother who looks after them as she would care for her own children. We provide each child with food, shelter, education, health care and a home that is free from conflict, abuse and exploitation. We have been caring for children since 1999. Orphan girls are at the bottom of the pecking order when food is scarce. We estimate that 50,000 orphan girls have been abandoned in Kenya without any means of support. These destitute children are almost certain to suffer emotional and physical neglect, extreme poverty, exploitation and possibly death. 12% of all children die before they reach five years old. Please help us to to rescue more girls from these tragic conditions, restore them to health and give them a bright happy future.

We are helping those from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with mental or physical disabilities to have equal access to opportunities. Please donate to support our cause.We have planning permission to build a centre on the canal bank of the Royal Military Canal which will provide modern facilities in a permanent building. The building will provide changing rooms and showers for male, female and staff paddlers. Facilities will be specially designed to ensure access and ease of use by those with various disabilities. There will be a room which can be used for indoor training, meetings and shelter in inclement weather as well as being available for use by the local community .
