(UK, CASC03761) Browse eventsMacclesfield Cricket Club is currently in the process of finalising plans for the installation of an outdoor net facility at Victoria Road, which we would very much like to be able to install this summer, subject to funding. This will be a huge asset to the club and will be used by both juniors and seniors alike. However, as with all such installations, the facility comes at a high cost and we are unable to claim back VAT payable on the project. A 3 lane net facility will cost £47,000 inc VAT! A lot of background work has been carried out with regards suppliers, bases and surfaces, and it is for this reason we require your support towards this facility. Unfortunately because of our claim for funding on the new changing rooms we are unable to ask for more funding from the ECB or other such bodies, which is a big blow. We have now started to look at 2 lane facilities, but even this is £32,500 inc VAT- a sizeable amount of money. All donations are gratefully received and will be ringfenced for this vital development - we do have some money in our "pot" already, but not enough! Your support with this is very much appreciated.
