Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. The Word for the World Bible Translators has a vision to bring God's Word (the Bible) to all people in their heart language. We have a specific target date of wanting to be instrumental in the completion of the Bible in 500 languages by 2050. We do this by training and empowering nationals to translate the Bible for their own people. Please donate to support our cause. Our method of empowering nationals has been in place now for 35 years. Over 900 students have attended our Diploma in Bible translation, and 170 have received the diploma. We have 93 Bible Translation projects currently in Africa, Slovakia and SE Asia, all run by nationals. This is a very cost effective means of doing Bible translation. It also enhances the naturalness of the translation and creates local ownership. We offer fun, friendship and Freedom on Wheels! We are a unique and small Cornish charity improving the lives of disabled people and their carers! The CDA provide a coach adapted for disability users and a caravan also specially adapted, sited in Cornwall, to provide holidays to disabled people and their important carers! We benefit many other charities and between 4000/5000 people! Cornwall, due to its rural nature, can create feelings of isolation for even the most active. We seek to take people away from their four walls and out into the community for a breathe of fresh air and companionship! At the current time we are actively fundraising for a new small coach to enable us to access rural areas and to provide a more comfortable and improved service. Our users cant just step in a car and go... They are very grateful for your support! Find us on facebook as freedomonwheels.

Holy Trinity is a growing and friendly Christian community in the heart of Leicester. We are seeking to revitalize our facilities to bring about renewed connection with the City of Leicester. Comprising a new frontage and foyer, with a staffed reception space and coffee shop, people will be able to pop in for a decent coffee and explore the church facilities. Our various groups will all benefit from refurbished and refitted spaces, including a new kitchen for our Triangle ministry to the homeless and vulnerably-housed, and new AV systems for all manner of different events from kids days to film nights. All of this is to bring our facilities to being fit for purpose for a 21st century meeting place that meets not only our needs but those we serve. And it is also a place for people to have confidence in from the moment they walk in the door. Co-Opera Co. was recently described in the press as “........ a revolutionary opera company whose values are firmly rooted in the time-honoured, traditional values of a good, old-fashioned, hands-on Apprenticeship” In 2008 soprano Kate Flowers and lighting designer Paul Need realised that there was a significant gap at the very start of many singers' careers, with very little opportunity for them to work alongside more experienced members of the profession in prestigious, professional productions at this crucial stage in their career development. The Apprenticeship Stage - Earning while Learning. So Kate and Paul thought they should do something about it, and in July 2008 Co-Opera Co. was formed.Since we first opened our doors for a series of weekend workshops in Bethnal Green in January 2009 Co-Opera Co. has brought together over 50 eminent professionals - our Associate Artists http://www.co-opera-co.org/html/associate_artists.HTML - to work with over 700 trainees and emerging artists – our Associate Members - in a two tiered, coupled system:-Co-Opera Co. Development Programmes - Connections for aspiring artists - those still in training, coming back into the business after a career break or wishing to further explore and hone their craft. Connections runs throughout the year and includes weekend workshops and two extensive self development programmes held in the Summer and at Easter.Co-Opera Co. Touring Company for emerging artists - those who have proved themselves ready for a career.
