We are a charity supporting children and adults with autism andother additional needs. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to build selfconfidence, nurture a belief in themselves and have a future to look forward to. Also to pursue their passions and ambitions to help support themselves to live an independent life. 1. We help Individuals and families that live with autism to get thehelp they need by signposting them to the resources, organisations and people that can help, via our online directory. 2. We help adults with autism and other additional needs to get a lifethey enjoy waking up to each day. Through our advocacy support and life coaching we listen, support and provide practical help to build confidence, self-belief and stronger mental health. We provide business coaching and a fully supported ‘back office’ so they get to do what they love and are good at, while we do all the boring business stuff. 3. We help businesses that have employees or customers with autism and related conditions, through training and awareness to create a more understanding society for all to live and work in.Our online Autism Training Presentation is free for all, and you can get your ‘Autism Friendly Certificate’ to use on completion of a short test. West Grimsby Scouts is where young people from our area can make new friends, have amazing adventures, and learn new skills. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But, we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges. Every week we give young people aged 4-14 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life. Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
