First Chance Nepal was established in 2013 to support severely disabled people living in Nepal. Our initial focus has been Khagendra New Life Centre, a long term residential home for people with severe physical disabilities in Jorpati, Kathmandu.Our main aim is to enable the residents to live a healthy and independent life. We hope to improve the centres accommodation, quality of medical care, equipment and physiotherapy to enhance their quality of life and participation in society.Our current project is to help fund a new roof at the home as the current roof is in a state of disrepair, leaking into the residents rooms during the monsoon season.

BTR Liverpool is supporting five charities through its BTR Footsteps Fundraisers initiative by encouraging its 25,000 participants who take part in BTR events annually to fundraise and support the official event charities. BTR Footsteps Fundraisers is a joint fundraising partnership which will bring the charities together to benefit financially through BTR’s key race events over the next year. BTR Liverpool is the leading independent organisation for organising and delivering race events in Liverpool City Region. The five BTR Footsteps Fundraisers official charities are: • Radio City’s Cash For Kids, • Claire House Children’s Hospice, • Everton in the Community, • Jospice, • Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Runners taking part in specific BTR events will be invited to support the partnership by making a donation or raising funds for the BTR Footsteps Fundraisers. At the end of the year, all monies raised will be split equally between the five charities to help them continue their vital work. Runners can support the BTR Footsteps Fundraisers through the following BTR events portfolio – Liverpool Santa Dash; Vitality Liverpool Half Marathon; Port Sunlight 10K/5K/1K; Mersey Tunnel 10K; Tour Of Merseyside; and Wirral Half Marathon 10K/5K.

Participants don't have to be wheelchair users to come and have a go and have some fun.The Club is based in Barrow-in-Furness, a stones throw away from the Lake District. We are an independent school, registered with the Department of Education. Bridge Training and Development is based on a four acre site in Hanley Swan, near Malvern in Worcestershire. Please donate to support our cause. Bridge Training and Development offer a bespokeprogramme of courses and activities to individuals and small groups of students based on their interests and designed to develop their personal, social and emotional well-being. We also offer vocational courses and sessions for groups of students from Primary Schools and Secondary schools who can attend for half a day or a full day. Students who are post 16 can attend if they have funding available through a Education, Health Care plan or are a looked after young person.Students gain qualifications in Maths, English, skills for working life, animal care, construction and horticulture. Bespoke students benefit from a broad curriculum of subjects is also offered including catering, art and crafts.
