The Mike Ellis Memorial Fund (MEMF) aims to provide life saving defibrillators as well as awareness and user training for rural communities where access to life-saving medical help by trained personnel might be delayed by the distances involved. The MEMF was set up in memory of Mike Ellis who was killed when he was 41 years old and was crushed under the wheels of s reversing lorry on a rural business park. This life-saving equipment can be used by anyone and can make all the difference to a casualty in an emergency.

All our workshops and seminars are led by our talented, committed young volunteers. Most of them attended our programme themselves and want to pass on the experience to others. Last year our volunteers worked with 130 young people and between them they delivered over 3,000 volunteer hours.
