RAY's original purpose was to raise awareness of the needs of refugees and asylum seekers and of the contribution they make to the local community. It now also provides a signposting and advocacy service, and runs a week-in drop in centre for refugees and asylum seekers in York.

Arts Care are the only Arts in Health charity in Northern Ireland. Our professional artists provide wonderful visual art, music and dance projects for patients to join, working in cancer care services, mental health services, acute services, older people and young people’s services, in hospitals and hospices across the province. Arts Care also send their dedicated and highly trained Clown Doctors to hospitals to visit sick children and young people, bringing a smile to their faces and where possible, speeding their recovery.
Enable Me works in schools and the community to raise disability awareness. It does this by providing assemblies, workshops, disability sports events and other activities (such as workforce development training) that are delivered by a team of trained volunteers, the majority of whom are disabled.

Richard ‘Boyley’ Ball (1977-2002) was a talented young BMXer. In 2001 he helped bring people together to work on the White Rock Skate Park, Hastings. His unique character and absolute lust for life, made him a much loved individual. His memory has become a symbol of the local BMX community.
