Run Kids Run's mission is to promote health and fitness amongst children and their families, bring communities together and raise funds for state schools to provide a rich, creative and enjoyable school experience for all pupils.
Welford and Wickham CE Primary School is a small community school of 96 children. The Friends of Welford and Wickham School PTFA raises much needed funds to improve school facilities. The outdoor space available to the children is limited and our ongoing effort is to make better use of this space to enable whole-year use, regardless of weather. To complete the project this year, we plan to upgrade the current grassed section to an all-weather area with amphitheatre style steps to improve safety and allow more useable space for the children. We are also raising funds towards new IT equipment for our school. Charity No: 1114025
A community larder is a hub, a place to access food that is surplus, access additional services, and save money. Some larders have been set up like your average store. All Community Larders are unique in their own way, “reducing food waste, creating opportunities, engaging with communities”. We will also split any money received with a group that supports adults with additional needs.

Started in November 1981 with two strays in Southampton, we now cover the UK, receiving some 250 referrals annually, with dedicated volunteers and no paid staff. A committee of 12 is elected annually at an October AGM. 10 of these are charity trustees, who meet 4 times a year to review progress and determine strategy. BTW receive invaluable support and assistance from 7 regional breed clubs, and from the more informal btposse, and borderfest groups, from whom fund raising challenges have emanated.
We are based in North Bristol & for more than 40 years we have been following our motto ‘We Serve’, helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Through regular & varied fund raising events we aim to help local people who are in need. This year we're supporting Hawkspring & Manor Farm Boy's Club.
