York Against Cancer is a local charity helping local people affected by cancer. We fund care for patients at York Hospital, research at The University of York and community education projects. The charity also provides transport to Leeds for radiotherapy and family respite breaks in Whitby
Caring Hands in the Community is a part of King's Church Ministries as a Christian response to the problems facing the marginalised in our society. Our staff and volunteers help those with issues such as isolation, social exclusion, hunger, homelessness, substance addiction and prostitution.

The Vagina Museum is the world’s first bricks and mortar museum dedicated to vaginas, vulvas and the gynaecological anatomy. The project launched in March 2017 and ran pop ups around the UK. The first premises is opened in Camden Market in 2019 with a view to open a permanent premises in a few years time. Our Mission: Our Mission 01. Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation (DRWF) is a registered charity, established in 1998 to fund research into a cure whilst raising public awareness to Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes the associated complications and treatment, avoidance and relief and to provide support to people living with diabetes.
The aim of the project is to take a group of students out to The Gambia each year to experience first-hand life in a developing country. We go beyond ‘handouts’ to provide the education, support and funding needed for people to become independent and find a sustainable solution to poverty.
Local families with bleeding disorders are a group of families based in London and The Home Counties that offer each other support and understanding about what it is like to live with a bleeding disorder. We believe that sometimes, parents, carers, siblings or children living with a bleeding disorder just want to connect with others experiencing the same challenges that their condition brings. It is therefore our goal to offer "support for families, by families".
The objective of the school and the Parents Staff Friends Association is to advance the education of the pupils in Ashgate Croft School. The Association may develop more extended relationships between the Staff, Parents and others associated with Ashgate Croft School. Engage in activities which support Ashgate Croft School and advance the education of the pupils attending it.
Our volunteers provide care and treatment for sick and injured seals at Tynemouth Seal Hospital in the North East of England. Our ultimate aim is to rehabilitate the seals in our care to the point of releasing them back into the wild.
