Working with experts, psychologists and successful dyslexics, we develop campaigns, films, tools and tests to explain dyslexic thinking. Dyslexic minds process information in divergent, lateral ways. In fact they’ve created some of the world's greatest inventions, brands and art. However many still perceive dyslexia as a disadvantage. We want to ensure all dyslexics are identified, inspired and enabled to reach their potential.

The Centre Project plays a key role in reducing the isolation felt by many lonely, unemployed, vulnerably housed single men,women and young people living in and around Leicester City. Our activities aim to promote their social, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing. Leicester Unaccompanied Child Initiative (LUCI) There are asylum seekers who are much too young for what they have lived through. They are children and teenagers out here on their own. LUCI includes The Freedom Club, for young people aged 13-19 years, and Outreach Support for unaccompanied asylum seeking young people and new arrivals in Leicester. LUCI aids young people with Education, Information and support.

Norton Pre-School is a not-for-profit charity providing Early Years education for two to five year olds and has been operating very successfully since the 1970s. As a charity, the Pre-School relies upon the proceeds of regular fundraising events and activities in order to keep fees low and to provide the best possible facilities and resources for children attending the Pre-School, Breakfast and After-School Clubs. Over the years, Norton Pre-School has known several homes in Norton, the current one being of a temporary construction and nearing the end of its intended lifespan. Therefore, our current fundraising goal is to raise sufficient funds to be able to replace this with a new and improved permanent building. This is a huge but necessary undertaking which will benefit all children using the Pre-School’s invaluable services for years to come. Please help in any way you can. YTD Raised: £0.00Warrington youth club believes in 'Inspiring young people to achieve' we exist to support young people’s development, offering opportunities to gain, increase and develop skills, knowledge self awareness and confidence, and enabling them to make positive and healthy life choices. We currently deliver a range of projects including one to one mentoring with children that have become involved with gangs, drugs or crime; Stay Safe programmes that encourage children and young people to avoid these paths in the first place. Girl’s groups support young women around topics such as relationships, social media, eating disorders, self harm and self esteem; and similar groups for guys. For those with disabilities we offer a Buddy system that allows for disabled children to do everyday things, such as go to the cinema or travel on the bus with young people from mainstream education. We also teach Positive Life Skills such as cooking and basic hygiene to better allow those with disabilities to fit into everyday life. We have opened an Enterprise Centre in the town centre of Warrington that has a free gym to encourage young people to exercise rather than hang around the streets; and that also teaches basic skills needed to enter the working world
