Crossroads Care is a national network of local charities providing support for carers and people they care for. Nationally Crossroads Care helps over 35,000 individuals and their families, helping carers to make a life of their own outside caring. Locally we provide a range of services for adults and children of all ages, disabilities or health conditions. In addition to care in the home, we offer a Day Care club for older people with care needs, a Young Carers Club for carers aged 8-18 and an After School Club for children with disabilities. West Norwood Muslim Community Project is a social enterprise charitable organisation, with the aim to establish a base for the Muslim Community in West Norwood. West Norwood Muslim Community Project (WNMCP) began in 2011 to builda base for the Muslim community in West Norwood by starting the first regularJum’uah in the area, Alhamdulillah. We held our first Tarawih in 2012 and, By The Grace of Allah, in 2013 opened the very first Islamic Centre in West Norwood, where five daily prayers were established. Our community has grown from the first Jumu’ah of 15 people to a weekly congregation of nearly 150. We recently began the purchase of the building where our Islamic Centre is based and we urgently need to raise £300,000 to complete the purchase within 6 months In’Sha’Allah. All funds raised will be given to The Croydon Islamic Academy, who are heading the purchase. The Prophet (saw) said ‘Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah willbuild for him a house in Paradise’ and also ‘Charity does not decrease your wealth’.
