St. Mary and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Poplar is part of The Diocese of Westminster. We have a large church, designed by Adrian Gilbert Scott, where 300+ parishioners of various nationalities gather to celebrate Mass and the Sacraments. We engage in caring for the wider community especially through “Neighbours in Poplar” (NiP) which was founded in our parish over 50 years ago and continues to care for the lonely, housebound, and those in need both young and old, In recent years NiP has reached out to help migrants in Calais. All donations go directly into the church funds.
