The Lin Berwick Trust is a registered charity that builds self-catering holiday houses for the severely disabled, their families and carers. The Trust opened its first holiday house for the disabled, Berwick Cottage, in East Harling, Norfolk in 1997. It has been a resounding success, receiving the highest accolades for disabled holiday accommodation from Tourism for All (formerly Holiday Care) and VisitBritain, which has given it the award of Access Exceptional under the new National Accessible Standards Scheme and a 4-star rating under the National Quality Assessment Scheme. The Trust's second holiday house for the disabled, Denis Duncan House, in Dirleton, East Lothian, opened its doors to holidaymakers in 2006.
We are a small group of volunteers who work and live in the community, working alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service. We respond to 999 calls and bridge the gap between the call and the ambulance arriving. We carry life saving equipment and are trained to a high standard by West Midlands Ambulance Service. The group has no government funding and the volunteers raise all the funds needed for equipment and running of the group. There are no salaries paid so almost every penny goes towards equipment or the running of the scheme car, with a very minimal amount spent on stationary and fund raising.

Encouraging openess, understanding and compassion towards everyone who has to live on without someone they love. My Blue heart is an idea born from the knowledge that bereaved people often need a way to show others they are grieving. Our badges convey the message `I carry your heart in mine'. They are intended for anyone who has suffered a great loss, for those who are recently bereaved or who just need to show they are missing someone special that day. We hope they will provide a way to communicate loss and give others the opportunity to show consideration and support. All profits from My Blue Heart are donated to existing charities who work to support bereaved children and young people or used to support bereaved children within school.

The RSCM is driven by our mission to bring good music, well composed and well made, to worship. From magazines, music, and books to awards schemes, residential courses, and distance learning; from training for organists to getting pianists onto the organ seat for the first time; from Voice for Life singing and choral education to courses for cathedral singers -- if it is about church music anywhere in the world, the RSCM is there. We support and enable musicians, composers, directors, singers, instrumentalists, and clergy of many traditions and styles. We field Regional Music Advisers to help our volunteer committees put on events, bring young people to church music, take music to churches that do not have any, and promote best practice. In the Salisbury administrative centre, our dedicated staff assists with the myriad support needs of working church musicians: contracts, commissioning of music and articles, distance and on-site courses, the Sunday by Sunday liturgy planner, licensing and copyright … and much more. The RSCM is funded through membership dues (organisational and individual), publication sales, and course fees. But to sustain our 4,500 UK members, 1,500 Friends, 600 volunteers, and 2,500 international members, we must also receive charitable gifts and legacies from generous individuals who understand the value of music in worship.
