Pathfinders Camp was established in 1956, and caters mainly for women aged 18 and over. Around a hundred “Pathfinders” gather in August each year, to share in a holiday based upon a philosophy that encourages everyone to be enabled to participate in and share camp life together. We choose to support charities that develop the confidence and capabilities of young people aged between 16-25. In 2014 the RAD Magazine Foundation is supporting the Stroke Association - a charity that provides high quality, up-to-date stroke information for stroke patients, their families and carers. Every year there are approximately 152,000 strokes in the UK. That's one stroke every five minutes. Most people affected are over 65, but anyone can have a stroke, including children and even babies. The Foundation may also support health and education projects in the UK and overseas.
