It is primarily involved in building a school in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, West Africa. However from time to time it helps with other projects where there is great need.

Our small rowing club is just one of a handful of Victorian wooden boathouse left in the UK. We are England's most northerly rowing club, situated on the banks of the River Tweed. Established in 1869 the boathouse has Grade 2 listed building status and constantly requires maintenance.
We are fundraising for the fantastic new play area in Pittville Park. This will replace the existing playground with lots more exciting play equipment for children up to 14 and for all abilities. The project will also refurbish the birds and bunnies cages and provide a new cafe. Help make it happen!

It provides care at home, in-patient care and respite care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses and their families. Their services are free. Friends is run by unpaid volunteers and our chairwoman speaks Russian fluently and has a place on the hospice's advisory board.

The Dance Teachers’ Benevolent Fund was founded in 1979 to provide pastoral, financial and practical assistance to qualified dance teachers of any age who are suffering temporary or long term hardship.
Samaritans offers 24 hour emotional support to anyone going through a crisis of any kind or anyone who needs to talk in complete confidence without being judged. Yeovil Samaritans speak to people in Somerset and Dorset, as well as taking calls from all over the UK.We have been open in Yeovil for just over 40 years. We work with other organisations including Guys Marsh prison, the local hospital, Cruse and local colleges and schools - offering support and partnership. We have 116 volunteers aged between 23 and over 80, who answer over 25,000 calls 24/7 and reply to over 1,200 emails a year. We raise funds to run the branch and keep the service going
There are 300 million children in the world for whom walking with shoes is a rarity. This makes them extremely vulnerable to infection by parasites, such as hookworm; while injuries to the feet and ankles can lead to ulcers and other conditions which are almost always left untreated. Without shoes, many children are not permitted to attend school. Sal's Shoes finds new feet for outgrown shoes.
