The Last Chance Foundation is a registered Charity which saves dogs from the threat of euthanasia. We work together with veterinary surgeries, rescue kennels, dog wardens and the general public to rescue healthy dogs which are to be euthanized for behavioral problems. We then rehabilitate the dog, and eventually find them a loving forever home. We rely on your kind donations, and fundraising events to make this venture possible. Every pound donated helps to save a dogs life, and find him a happy home. Please take a look at our website, via the Just Giving 'contact us' page, to view our available dogs, success stories, and for information regarding rehoming and adoption.

"Caring for wildlife both sides of the border" The Berwick Swan and Wildlife Trust was formed in 1992, following a major pollution incident in the River Tweed estuary, to provide support for the local swan herd as well as other wildlife in the area. Our volunteers continue to rescue sick or injured swans and other wildlife in the area of North Northumberland and the Borders. Our rescue centre in Berwick-upon-Tweed has purpose built ponds, aviaries and veterinary facilities, where our “patients” can receive any necessary treatment, or just have a period of rest and recuperation out of harms way. Once recovered and able to fend for themselves, our aim is to release them back into the natural environment from where they came. We are totally funded by membership, fundraising, public donations and bequests, so we appreciate all the help you are able to give us. Thankyou
