(UK, 1055946) The Sayers Croft Trust is a registered charity established in 1996 with the aim of involving the local community, especially young people, in the enjoyment and care of the environment. By working in partnership with the Sayers Croft field centre, the Trust aims to make all the facilities of Sayers Croft available to those who may otherwise be unable to access them due to physical, financial or social disadvantage. The Trust exists to serve and support the local community and takes an active role in education and conservation. By providing fun, adventurous and challenging activities for young people we hope to create good relationships, increase self esteem, and foster a sense of responsibility and community spirit. We run a varied programme of events throughout the year including: Monthly youth clubs Holiday activities Birthday Parties Educational, Team Building and Adventure day visits for schools and groups Conservation activities and much more! We are also very proud of our Special Educational Needs provision and run regular activity days for children with additional needs as well as provide bursaries for SEN groups to visit us at a fraction of the normal cost. We are always on the look out for volunteers and also are happy to give work experience to young students.

These young people live in adversity and are vulnerable to the challenges of the frantic pace of change in an uncertain world. Dream a Dream India’s programmes and partnerships have helped thousands by developing their life skills. These skills are critical in overcoming adversity, making healthy life-choices and breaking the cycle of poverty. The UN estimates that, unlike declining Europe, India's workforce will increase by 135 million by 2020, to around 600 million. At least half of these will come from vulnerable backgrounds of adversity and disadvantage. Dream A Dream UK was setup by a group of volunteers who were deeply inspired by the vision and programmes of Dream A Dream India, a registered children's charity in India. The primary aim of Dream A Dream UK is to promote and enhance the impact of local charities in India especially Dream A Dream by helping them raise funds from the UK, gain access to volunteers and build awareness about issues of child development, education and youth in India. The Gravesham Sports Trust (GST) is a charitable trustwhich helps maintain and run the astro-turf pitch at Gravesend Rugby Club. Itis the aim of the trust to ensure Gravesham and its local communities continuesto have access to a multi-sport artificial grass surface, to help encouragecontinued sports participation in the area. Having served the local community for many years, the astro now needs major investment to ensure the surface continues to be playable. YTD Raised: £0.00William C Harvey is a day school, specialising in meeting the needs of pupils with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs. We are a coeducational school and the only school of its kind in Haringey. Many of the pupils have additional disabilities such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, sensory impairment and complex medical needs. A number have behavioural difficulties and some are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. Key Stages 1 to 4 are located on the same site as Broadwater Farm Primary and Moselle Special School. All students transfer from William Harvey to the Haringey Sixth Form Centre at the end of KS4. The school received an oustanding Ofsted in every category in February 2009; the Investors in People Award for the fourth time in May 2009; and the Leading Parent Partnership Award in July 2009. In September 2008 we received the prestigious International Schools Award from the British Council. Healthy Schools Status was gained in 2007 for the second time, and the Sportsmark 2007/8.
