Shrewsbury School Foundation’s strategic objective is to provide funds to Shrewsbury School in order for the School to offer a first class secondary school education to pupils between the ages of 13 and 18 and be comparable with the best independent boarding schools in the United Kingdom in terms of breadth and depth of education and quality of achievement. This is achieved by: 1. Providing funding, via bursaries and scholarships, which enables pupils to attend Shrewsbury School who otherwise would not have the financial resources to do so; and 2. Providing funds to Shrewsbury School to undertake and assist in large capital projects that the School would not otherwise be able to undertake.
Sutcliff is a Baptist Church family, that seeks to look up to God, and out to the world, to make effective disciples for Jesus Christ. Our church has been meeting on the Market Place in the beautiful market town of Olney in Buckinghamshire since the late 17th century and has a rich heritage, being named after John Sutcliff, one of the pioneers of the Baptist Missionary Society. We now have a vibrant fellowship of all ages, and join with other churches in the town to run a very successful annual Holiday Bible Club.

OVALHOUSE Theatre was first performed at Ovalhouse 50 years ago in 1963. During those 50 years it has built and maintained a reputation for innovative, provocative work. Consistently outside of the mainstream, Ovalhouse has used theatre to ask searching questions of society, to encourage diversity, and as a catalyst to transform thousands of lives. SUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE Creative Youth, our participation department, reaches out to young people from the surrounding communities, manyof whom are at very margins of society. We work with young people who would otherwise have no access to the arts; no opportunity to engage their creativity, to increase their confidence nor to find something worthwhile on which to focus their energies. At Ovalhouse young people have the chance to explore their potential and develop valuable creative, personal and vocational skills. SUPPORTING THEATRE Our Theatre Department works to support over 500 early career artists each year, helping them to engage audiences and inspire thinking; nurturing young and new talent to create exciting, radical, pioneering fringe theatre. Ovalhouse can only accomplish this with the financial support and generosity of organisations, individuals and businesses who understand what we can achieve together. The young people we work with need your support. Support the future of theatre in London. Support Ovalhouse towards the next 50 years!

Better Life: Africa is a charity that exists to offer a better life to the people it reaches. Working in and amongst the poorest children in the Shanzu district of Africa, we are providing education and practical help. The charity runs a primary school in Mombasa in Kenya. There are over 150 children at the school, many from the poorest families in the area. The current school has 4 permanent classrooms and 5 temporary classrooms. We have to move out from the temporary buildings in October 2013. We have bought an ideal piece of land further into the Bush still within walking distance of the school. We have dug the bore hole and we have had plans approved and surveyed. The total cost of the new school is around £70,000. We are hoping that the building materials donated will bring the cost down. It means we still have tens of thousands of pounds to raise. Please donate to give children in Africa a better chance of a better life...
