Our aim is to understand, support and improve the physical, mental health and vitality of men suffering from bereavement. We provide free weekend breaks for men aged between 18-55 who have lost a close family member or friend and need support.
Stick 'n' Step supports children with cerebral palsy from across North Wales and the North West of England to help maximise their independence through providing free conductive education therapy. Since 2002 the charity has grown from strength to strength, now supporting 70 children every week.
Southern Area Hospice Services provides invaluable support and care to people suffering from cancer and other terminal illnesses living within the Southern Health Board area. SAHS's aim is to provide the best quality of life for patients and their families. All services are provided free of charge and SAHS rely heavily on voluntary donations to continue providing our special care.

By providing human support in the form of help at home, communication and mobility support, counselling, together with specially adaptive equipment, we help deafblind people achieve their full potential, whatever that may be.
In April 2013, The Boom Foundation was set up and it remains the only charity in NI dedicated to supporting patients suffering from sarcoma, a rare form of bone and soft tissue cancer. 50% of funds raised go to Sarcoma UK towards vital research; the rest supports those affected by sarcoma in NI.

We provide at least three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We have foodbank centres in Inverurie, Huntly, Ellon, Peterhead and Fraserburgh. In 2021 we provided over 8000 for parcels across North Aberdeenshire.
