The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society (HKACS) is the most enduring non-profit making cancer organization in Hong Kong. HKACS has devoted to battle against cancer and to advocate cancer prevention through educations, researches, develop cancer screening and prevention guidelines as well as counseling services with the aim to increase knowledge and awareness of cancer of the general public. For 50 years, HKACS continues to improve and introduce different services to meet the needs of cancer patients and their families, such as HKACS Jockey Club Cancer Rehabilitation Centre (JCCRC) which provides a one-stop nursing and rehabilitation services. HKACS has also setup "Charity Bed" and "Betterment Funds" to help cancer patients of limited financial resources to receive free inpatient services and cancer treatment drugs.
Sedan Chair Charities Fund raise money through our annual Sedan Chair Race and Bazaar, and other fund-raising activities such as Raffle Ticket Sales to support charitable organizations that generally do not receive assistance from the Hong Kong Community Chest, Hong Kong Jockey Club or the Government – none go to the Matilda International Hospital.
The HKBCF is dedicated to safeguarding the breast health of all women in HK regardless of their age, nationality, economic status or health condition. We do this through education, patient support and research to advocate for better breast cancer support and treatment in HK.
Karen Leung Foundation is a charitable organization in Hong Kong (Registered Charity No. 91/13069) working to raise awareness about gynecological cancers, educate the local community to promote prevention and early detection, and ensure that women in treatment have access to optimal medical care.
