Today FM's Shave Or Dye (IE, MYC0037) Browse events

YTD Raised: €0.00

Today FM’s Shave or Dye is an annual fundraiser to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society. To date the campaign has raised over €6 million thanks to the immense generosity of people who have organised their own Today FM’s Shave or Dye events in workplaces, schools, pubs and clubs all over Ireland. The thousands of people that have shaved and dyed their heads in the name of this great cause has been simply incredible! It all kicked off in 2010 and since then the campaign has gone from strength to strength with more and more people getting on board with Today FM’s Shave or Dye – giving time, money and hair to the cause. The Irish Cancer Society is the largest voluntary funder of cancer research in Ireland, and invested more than €3.3 million in cancer research in 2012. Research funded by the Society has led to major advances in cancer research and more than 650 important research findings have been discovered. With your support in 2014 we will continue to make such advancements. We're headhunting so tell your friends, your family, your colleagues, your team-mates and students about Today FM’s Shave or Dye 2014 and how they can get involved. If they can’t shave or dye themselves, they can sponsor you to take part.Remember - We've got cancer in our sights. For full details, log onto www.todayfm.com/shaveordye
