Our support to the teachers, parents, children and schools in the poorest rural communities of Nepal includes: Manisha UK focusses the majority of its resources on improving the quality of education through its Teacher Training Programme. Additionally, our healthcare volunteers promote care of the sick child and Manisha UK now provides and replenishes first aid kits in each school, but our resources are limited. In Nepal, a little goes a long way and without exception it is far more cost effective to send money to buy items in Nepal rather than sending donated items from the UK. For example: If you would like help Manisha UK continue its Teacher Training Programme across all supported schools, you can make a one off or regular donation, or even start your own fund raising event, by clicking on the appropriate button at the top right of this page. If you are a teacher, parent or pupil of one of our UK twinned schools and would like to make a one off donation specifically for the benefit of your school's Nepalese twin school, please click on your school name in list to the left of this page.
