YTD Raised: £1,117.00

Our charter: To advance the education of the pupils of Cheapside Primary School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority). A bit about us:  The Parent Teachers Association engages in activities, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending and make a difference to the educational experience of pupils at the school now and in the future.  To enable these activities the PTA run a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. Equipment purchased in the past and funds raised going forward leave a lasting legacy that would not be possible without the support of the PTA. Providing the swimming facilities is one key area where our funds have made a difference. The PTA is keen to encourage more parents to get involved in whatever way you can as this will bring many rewards, least of which you get a chance to make a real difference. The PTA is a voluntary organisation. None of this is possible without the generous support of parents, relatives and friends. Please continue to help raise funds to give the students of Cheapside Primary School the best education possible. Did you know?Without the PTA there would be no pool! 20 years ago the PTA raised the funds to build the school pool. They even dug the pool out themselves, by hand! Without the PTA there would be no: water coolers, school TV license, pantomime trip, new library books, new computer software, new kitchen equipment and new playground equipment, and the school SATS activities and focus weeks.
