BACE (Building and Assisting Communities with Education) is a small charity with a long reach. We formed to help children in rural communities in The Gambia access education and health services and our first project was in 2011 when BACE Volunteers and the local community of Bonsa built the Favour Preparatory Nursery School. BACE now manages and funds the school which cares for 100 3 - 7 year old children who otherwise would be walking 6 miles to school. We continue to support the teaching staff, stock the school with the best materials we can and improve the learning space year on year.

HUGE ,an acronym for Helping Uganda Educate, has been setup to make a difference to childrens lives in Uganda, who through no fault of their own can't go to school, are malnourished and have no access to normal health facilities. HUGEs initial aim is to work in partnership with the Nabugabo Community Development Association, located on the shores of Lake Nabugabo in South West Uganda.Our aim is to help strengthen the local community,to generate improvements in education, healthcare,employment and environmental initiatives. Work in the surrounding area will begin once the Nabugabo project proves sustainable. Opening it's doors in 2013,the school now has 75 children enrolled in three year bands from just three years of age.The vision is to be able to offer a full primary education from Reception through to Primary 7.In order to achieve this,there will be ongoing capital and revenue requirements for the construction and fit out of supplementary classrooms and staff accomodation together with the cost of additional teaching staff. We need your help to make this possible,any donations,small (or large) will make a HUGE difference to these children.Please help us fulfil this vision and importantly help these children and, more to an education they so richly deserve.

As a non-profit organisation our work is heavily dependent on volunteers and donations. Trustees and volunteers work for CNYTrust in their spare time and are not paid, so every donation goes directly towards helping another student get to school. All donations received by CNYTrust are used either in our CNYTrust sponsor a child scholarship fund or put towards the maintenance or development of the CNYTrust school.
