Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. We are PAFA, Parents & Friends Association for Birch C of E (VA) Primary School. We meet every couple of months at school to discuss ways to raise money. Over the previous school year, PAFA has again continued to support Birch Primary in many ways. In addition to the Grand Summer Fete and Summer Raffle, there have been fundraising events throughout the year including sports day teas, film nights, Clothes Aid collections, Easy Fundraising cashback, Book People orders, cake sales and donations made directly to the school in response to specific fundraising initiatives.Through such events PAFA has been able to provide the following for the school:contribution to the school football team, rugby tops, playground signs, table top games, outdoor tables and parasols and a fete banner.We are currently raising funds for a new school playground of which plans can be seen at our school.

The charity operates the English Alive Academy, which was established in 2004, a school that delivers high quality, full-time education to disadvantaged children aged 3 – 12 who live in and around the city of Nazret in EthiopiaEnglish Alive Academy, Ethiopia, has 190 students, aged between 3 and 12. Fifteen per cent of our students have lost one or both of their parents through disease. Our pupils endure daily hardships rooted in poverty, such as illness, unreliable access to food or clean water, and chaotic family lives.
