OLCS invites you to sponsor a chair in the School Chapel. £60 will purchase a chair with a small dedication plaque (up to 75 characters). The chairs are constructed of solid wood and upholstered in ‘School’ blue and offer a comfortable seat for assemblies, liturgies and masses.
Friends of Dawpool School, as a charity, originated over 20 years ago as a way of co-ordinating the responsibility for fundraising for Dawpool Church of England , voluntary aided primary school where 10% of the funding for general maintenance and repairs needs to be provided for . Avenue Primary PTFA aims to raise additional funds not available through the school budget. These funds support the school in delivering an excellent and exciting educational experience to its pupils. Activities include running the very popular school discos and fairs. In recent years the PTFA has provided fantastic new play equipment for the school playground.
The Parikrma Humanity Foundation UK Trust supports the work of Parikrma Humanity Foundation. It is a non-profit organization that is transforming education for underserved children in urban India, so that they can have equal access to the best opportunities. The Parikrma Model includes: a) A 360 degree development program built around the life of a child and covers top-class English Education, Nutrition (3 meals a day), comprehensive Healthcare and Family Care. We call this the Circle of Life. b) An end-to-end program (e2e) - where the entire education from school to college for a child is looked after by Parikrma. This is what increases the probability of success. Parikrma will directly manage the imparting of education from KG to 12. After that Parikrma will provide scholarships and other options for children to go through professional college / vocational training before placing the children in jobs. Grounds 4 Success is Harrogate Grammar School’s campaign to build a much needed artificial turf pitch. The pitch is crucial for our students and the community groups and primary schools using our site regularly for sports coaching and teaching. When built, over 3,000 children will benefit from the facility annually.
It's a group of parents of severely disabled children. So far, they've raised funds to help provide things that enhance the children's lives. They've contributed towards school residential trips the running costs of the specially adapted minibuses and helped raise enough money for the deposit on a specially adapted minibus.
