Cambodian Child's Dream Organisation UK, known as CCDO UK, was set up to provide water wells and assistance with education, training and healthcare in rural Cambodia. Our main activity is building water wells to provide clean drinking water to families and rural communities who have had no access to clean water before. We also provide school uniforms and school starter packs to enable children from poor families, who would otherwise be unable to do so, to attend school. We support an adult literacy programme, primarily for young women who have had no education themselves. In addition to improving the women's confidence and helping them educate their children. research has shown that educating women improves the health and lifespan of their children.
