Berwick Swan And Wildlife Trust (UK, 1064805) Browse events

YTD Raised: £0.00

"Caring for wildlife both sides of the border" The Berwick Swan and Wildlife Trust was formed in 1992, following a major pollution incident in the River Tweed estuary, to provide support for the local swan herd as well as other wildlife in the area. Our volunteers continue to rescue sick or injured swans and other wildlife in the area of North Northumberland and the Borders. Our rescue centre in Berwick-upon-Tweed has purpose built ponds, aviaries and veterinary facilities, where our “patients” can receive any necessary treatment, or just have a period of rest and recuperation out of harms way. Once recovered and able to fend for themselves, our aim is to release them back into the natural environment from where they came. We are totally funded by membership, fundraising, public donations and bequests, so we appreciate all the help you are able to give us. Thankyou

Last Chance Foundation (UK, SC040383) Browse events

YTD Raised: £0.00

The Last Chance Foundation is a registered Charity which saves dogs from the threat of euthanasia. We work together with veterinary surgeries, rescue kennels, dog wardens and the general public to rescue healthy dogs which are to be euthanized for behavioral problems. We then rehabilitate the dog, and eventually find them a loving forever home. We rely on your kind donations, and fundraising events to make this venture possible. Every pound donated helps to save a dogs life, and find him a happy home. Please take a look at our website, via the Just Giving 'contact us' page, to view our available dogs, success stories, and for information regarding rehoming and adoption.

Rehoming dogs & cats UK wide. All our animals are neutered, vaccinated microchipped + UK vet checked. Rescue back up for life http://www.loveunderdogs.org/ Love UnderDogs was set up by animal lovers who wanted to make the world a better place by helping and supporting some of the most unwanted, abused, neglected and voiceless dogs. The journey started with a dog shelter we visited in Romania. Having seen the conditions locally, we had to help and Love UnderDogs was born and we have never looked back since! In 2012 we started finding homes for these animals whose lives had been nothing but pain and suffering, when all they wanted was love. Seeing their destiny change and their eyes, previously filled with sadness and despair, come alive was just magical. What could be more wonderful than to see those faces light up at the thought of life taking a turn for the better? Great things can be achieved when we all work together towards a common goal, creating more happiness in the world. We welcome you to join us on this wonderful journey, it is a fabulous privilege to be able to make a difference and we would like to share it with as many as we can.
