Wales Air Ambulance provides an emergency air ambulance service to Wales with the ability to be anywhere in the country in 20 minutes.The charity responds to around 2000 missions a year- each mission costs approx £1500. WAA has to raise £6million per year in order to operate the lifesaving service.

Hospice in the Weald provides compassionate, individualised, holistic and supportive care for all patients with life-limiting illnesses, their carers and families in West Kent and East Sussex. As a local charity not part of the NHS we need to raise £5m each year to ensure our services can continue.

Fundraising is the lifeline. To operate the life saving service, your help is required to raise £1.7 million p.a.

Dorothy House Hospice Care supports 1,500 families affected by cancer and other life threatening conditions every year. It is the only charity providing free specialist nursing care at home for people with life-threatening illness in Bath,Wiltshire and Somerset. Most patients are looked after in their own homes, but short-term care, out-patient and day patient services are provided at the hospice in Winsley. All care is provided free of charge, but Dorothy House receives only about 30% of its funding from the NHS. This year, after NHS funding, more than £7,000 a day must be raised to continue to provide these services.
RCHT supports a wide range of charitable and health related activities benefiting both patients and staff. The RCHT Charitable Fund is used to provide equipment and support that goes over and above what the NHS is able to provide.
