Each week, we send a professional entertainer or artist into the wards to give the children a healing dose of fun. We try our best to give them something to look forward to - like arranging a post-treatment VIP trip to Hamleys. In all this, our aim is to help the children forget where they are, forget the suffering and forget the monotony of hospitalisation. If we can achieve any of that, even for a second, it’s all worth it. We already help the kids in the Carousel Ward of UCH in London. Now we need your help to get to the hundreds of children in 21 similar wards nationwide. Every penny you can spare will go directly into bringing some much-needed fun and laughter to all of them.

Every year there are approximately 152,000 strokes in the UK. That's one stroke every five minutes. Most people affected are over 65, but anyone can have a stroke, including children and even babies. The Foundation may also support health and education projects in the UK and overseas.
